The father of 1911 Chinese Revolution, Dr Sun Yat Sen, used to reside in this two-storey bungalow whenever he visited Singapore. This building was headquarters to the Singapore branch of the Kuomintang. It also stands as a common type of residence that used to exist in Singapore in the 19th century.
