Part of a network of pillboxes, this pillbox provided overlapping and   interlocking fields of fire to defend Flagstaff House. This building at 64 Sime   Road was the Combined Operations Headquarters of the British Army and Air Force   during the Malayan Campaign prior to the Japanese Occupation in 1942.
