Culture, Recreation and Sports (CRS) eTown is collectively owned by 7 government agencies, namely:
The National Arts Council (NAC) spearheads the development of the arts in Singapore. Its mission is to nurture the arts and make it an integral part of the lives of the people of Singapore. For more information, click here.
The National Heritage Board (NHB) spearheads the appreciation and development of Singapore's cultural, artistic and national heritage. Its goal is to make heritage enriching, relevant and exciting for all and it operates eight leading heritage institutions and musuems. For more information, click here.
The National Parks Board (NParks) is responsible for developing and enhancing Singapore's image as a Garden City. NParks is tasked with providing and managing quality parks, greenery and related services to meet the needs of both residents and overseas visitors. Its mission is "Let's make Singapore our Garden!". The National Library Board (NLB) spearheads the transformation of library services in Singapore in the Information Age. Its mission is to expand the learning capacity of the nation so as to enhance national competitiveness and to promote a gracious society. For more information, click here.
The People's Association (PA) is the leading government agency that promotes social cohesion, racial harmony and Government-to-People connectivity. It does so through a network of grassroots organisations, five Community Development Councils (CDCs), Outward Bound Singapore (OBS), Social Development Service (SDS), National Community Leadership Institute (NACLI) and National Youth Council (NYC).
